Use the one hand to hold the eyewear. With the other hand you insert the hook on the side shield into the slot on the temple. Then slightly push upward to make sure the hook slides into the slot. Next you push the side shield towards the temple tip until you hear a click, indicating the side shield is locked in place.

NOTE: These are pemanent ide shields, once they are installed they cannot be removed.
