Laser Eye Protection 4 – Protection against near Infra-red (NIR) laser (1064 Nm)
NIR lasers used in laser target designators most often operate at 1064 Nm.
The LEP 4 is optimized to protect against NIR lasers at wavelengths of 1064 Nm at an optical density of 6+. Additionally, wavelengths in the vicinity of these are also attenuated to a varying degree.
